Country singer Darryl Worley feels like he fits in pretty well in Southeast Alabama.
Darryl Worley has been involved in business ventures in the area. He performed at the first BamaJam music festival in 2008 and attended other BamaJam festivals as a fan. Worley is currently the spokesperson for BamaJam Farms, the venue for the Pepsi BamaJam 2012.
“It’s sort of like a second home for us,” the Tennessee native said of the Wiregrass. “I really love it down there. And I love BamaJam Farms. I think it’s one of the most beautiful pieces of property I’ve ever seen.”
Worley will host the opening night of BamaJam on Thursday, and even he is in awe of the line-up of performers he’ll share the stage with – Willie Nelson, Third Day, Eric Church and Tim McGraw.
“It’s just going to be one of those dynamic evenings,” Worley said.
